All my old passwords are in FF and it remembers them, but, I've been
noticing if I sign up to a new site FF no longer offers to remember
Passwords. Signing out and signing back in has no effect, still no offer
to remember them. The sites in question do have the option to set cookies
so as to be remembered that way and hence auto log in, but, I can't
remember cookie log in over riding FF remembering passwords before.

Has anyone else experienced this issue before and know how to fix it?

First check your settings: Tools, Options, Privacy, Passwords, and
make sure that remember passwords is checked.

If it is, then some sites have been disabling the remembering of
passwords. There is a way to get around it. Sometimes it works, and
sometimes it doesn't. Its called the remember password bookmarklet.
You can get it here: https://www.squarefree.com/bookmark...ember_password.
Drag the icon to your bookmark folder. Visit the site in question.
Click the bookmarklet. Click on the OK popup. Enter your user name
and password. Then you should get a message asking if you want to
remember the password.

Thanks, I'll try that out. I was wondering if some sites were disabling
remember password, interestingly they allow the Remember Me via cookie and
let you stay logged in forever so it's not to do with security, it looks
as if it is to force you to set and not remove their cookie.
