Author Embedded IE?

In Firefox, I have an "IE Tab" extension.
It tells me that this "Enables you to use the embedded IE engine with
Mozillz/Firefox".

Does that mean that Firefox has an IE engine embedded in it, OR that
it then uses the IE program already installed on my computer?

Thanks! - just curious . . .

Yes, the IE Tab requires the windows OS and IE to be present on the
computer. Not available for Macs for example

It uses the IE engine INCLUDED in the Windows operating system
