Forwarding an email problem

I am using Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 and when I want to forward an email I
have received I don't see the original message so I can edit comments
and trim earlier senders and recipient email addresses. Can you tell
me how to do this? Thanks.

click on Tools, Options, Composition, General tab, and at
the top, where it says forward messages and select "Inline"
from the drop down.
