After having to wipe my entire hard drive due to accumulated problems (what
a treat this has been...) I've finally got things back up and running.

But I had Firefox backed up only from my profiles folder, the one that
looks like "random characters.default" in the applications>Mozilla>
Firefox>profiles folder.

It worked OK this time but is there something else that should also be
backed up with this (besides my printed instructions on how to restore the
bookmarks...) to be safe or better?

I bought an external hard drive so I shouldn't have to endure as much BS if
I ever have to do anything like this again! Backup space is not a problem.

Thanks for any info.

nope, there's nothing else. Backing up your profile should do.
