NetStorage admin via iManager?
|
|

| Let's say I've got 4 servers running NetStorage.
Do I have to have iMangler installed on all 4 servers in order to
administer them?
Or can a single iManager "manage" multiple NetStorage boxes?
(one would hope that the "centralized" iManager--you only need one in a
tree, right?--could do this)

| Hi Kevin,
My guess is you can't do this, because Netstorage settings are kept in the
local server's registry, not in eDirectory (as with iFolder).

| That was my understanding. You'll need to have iManager installed on
each one if you wish to use it for Administration. NSAdmin continues to
be a part of Netstorage. You should still be able to utilize it without
having to depend on iManager. (which is what I do)
