| I am about ready to give up on trying to import certs into eDirectory. What a pain. I have a cert
signed byt thawte. I have downloaded the .pb7 file, opened my keymaterial in ConsoleOne
(1.3.6e with PKI 2.x), selected Public Key, selected "No Trusted Root," and pasted in the contents
of my download, but no go! ConsoleOne complains with a 1240 error: Cannot parse cert or
incomplete cert.
Thawte has verified the cert for me, and I have re-built the cert store. What the heck am i
missing.
In consoleone on Linux, I cannot paste contents of the file because it complains it is not a valid
cert.
Help! Should I create my own .pb7 file from IE?

| Hi there
There could be 3 reasons for this:
1) Certificate format is incorrect.
2) Pki.nlm is not compatible with the version of the Novell
Certificate Server snap-in used in ConsoleOne.
3) The object that the certificate has been stored in is
corrupted.
Below is a link that might help
http://www.novell.com/documentation...x9.html#al45xx9
