Netstorage - can't upload or download
|

| NetStorage up and running on NW 6.5 sp4
Want to open up firewall just enough to access it from outside. We have
opened 443 for secure access, but still cannot upload, download, or
create new folders.
What am I missing?
Thanks,
AlaN

Does it work from inside the firewall?

| Very strange. Could it be a name resolution thing?

| I have similar problem
In local network I can do all operations without exception.
All checked locally with IE/xp, Firefox/xp, Firefox/NLD.
When connecting from outside I can browse trough volumes and folders and can
see files.
By copy paste from one location to another got "IO error - connection
refused"
By Delete file get same error
By Upload "Bad request" error
From outside, all was checked from Firefox/Suse10 client only.
Enviroment: NW6.0SP5
Any idea?

| I don't think so because I can get to the server and login using a DNS
name. I can navigate through the directory structure, but cannot
transfer any files. (we're using port 443 at the moment for a secure
connection)

It could still be a name resolution problem if NetStorage cannot find
itself. Time for a packet trace?
