We are having problems with NetStorage. When we are inside our firewall we can use NetStorage via NetWare WebAccess fine. But when we are outside the firewall, we can log into WebAccess but then following the link to NetStorage fails within the frames.

My first thought was that it has something to do with our firewall settings, but if I go directly to http://<server>/oneNet/NetStorage from outside the firewall I can get to NetStorage just fine. So if it works directly I wouldn't think it is a firewall
problem.

I have searched the knowledgebase but find nothing. This is a clean install of NetWare 6.0, SP 5, and it hasn't worked from the start. We did nothing out of the ordinary from our typical install process of the OS. Perhaps it isn't NetStorage but someth
ing else? Anyone have an idea of what to look for?

Michael.

No the issue is that the URL information within NetWare Webaccess goes over
the TCPIP Application layer. This layer is not translated by NAT because it
operates at the hardware layer. Therefore you typically need a proxy server
to do this. There is however a way to do it with NAT. The basic concept is
outlined in TID # 10081716
