Hi All

I've been googling for around an hour trying to locate a guide or documentation for installing coldfusion on my apache for netware. (I run small business server 6.5). Does anyone know how i would go about installing it? I am assuming i just put a coldfusi
on *.ear *.war Java module somewhere and then link it into the apache startup somehow? Does anyone have any ideas or experience installing this? Any comments apprecaited!!

thanks

You deploy it to Tomcat. Do you have any guide for tomcat?

I don't have a guide for Tomcat, however that now gives me a starting point
and narrows down how i go about it. I might start search google for
coldfusion on tomcat or similar. If you know of any good resources however
links be be greatly appreciated!!

thanks

I have never played with CF, but it lists this for application servers:
Supported Application Servers
Macromedia JRun 4 (Updater 4 and higher)
IBM WebSphere Application Server – Express, Version 5.1
IBM WebSphere Application Server, Version 4, 5.0, 5.0.2, 5.1, 6.0
IBM WebSphere Application Server – Network Deployment, Version 5.0, 5.0.2,
5.1 Non-Clustered, Single Server Only 3
IBM WebSphere Application Server for Developers 5.0
BEA WebLogic Server 7, 8.1

Anyway, it says:
You can deploy ColdFusion MX 7 in the J2EE configuration using a third-party
J2EE application server. When you select the J2EE configuration, the Install
Wizard creates a web application archive (WAR) or enterprise application
archive (EAR) file, which you then deploy using the tools provided by your
chosen application server.

Basically, you plonk the WAR file in the webapps dir and restart tomcat.

At this stage I have only been able to get Coldfusion MX 7 working on my suse box deployed on tomcat. My netware server is having major tomcat/apache issues atm it seems . .
