Hi Norm,
i try it with User Admin. I will only allow eDirectory User access on this Webserver!
The 'valid-user' or 'valid-group' options also failed.

Dirk

Good morning Dirk,
If every file in the protected directory is available to all the users
who will have access to the directory, then (typically) you don't really
need eDirectory rights. Authenticating with mod_edir needs a licenced
connection for a start, which might then raise its own problems. Another
approach would be to use 'valid-user' or 'valid-group' options via LDAP.

Good morning,
Set the log level to 'debug' to get a bit more info about what's happening.

Hi Norm,
i have found my mistakes. I need a LDAP Proxy User to connect eDir. After i create a LDAPProxy user, the authentication works!

Thanks and regards
