We are running NW65SP2 in our environment. Due to a space shortage we
needed to temporarily move some user home directories to another server
in same container. After the space problem was resolved, we moved them
back to the original server, same volume etc. Now none of these users
home directory publishing via their public_html folder now work. We
have restarted our Apache server, BM Server and both of the file servers
involved. All other user access to the directories is OK. Any
suggestions on how to troubleshoot/resolve. Home directory publishing
works ok for all other users on other servers and containers.

Make sure the home directory attribute on the user objects are still set to
the correct server, volume, & path. You can also check the SYS:Apache2\Logs
directory and open the lastest error_log in notepad & to see what's causing
the error.

Josh:
Sorry for the slow response back. After we got this working this issue
dropped off the radar.

After double-checking everything and checking the Apache logs (mostly path
not found errors) we had found missing entries in the HOSTS file on the
server hosting Apache as well as the affected NW servers. After updating
them and restarting Apache all home directories now publish correctly even
those moved to the new server.

Thanks again for your prompt reply.

Cheers,

John B.
