| Thanks all for your help, it was the syntax, forwardslash vs. backslash.
Not sure why I didn't catch that but I noticed it was within the Apache Web
Manager, the explore magnifying glass put the backslashes in. Not sure why
it would do this but it did. Nonetheless the problem is fixed and I
appreciate everyones help.
BTW, any helpful tips for using name-based virtual-hosts for the first
time? We want to have a scenario where we can have a intranet website and a
internet website on the same box. Never have setup a virtual-host before
with Apache, so any pitfalls that could be avoided I would much appreciate.
