Author Web Search Server: "Default number of results to diaplay"

Hi,

i want to add the benefit of a search server to our company.

But i am a little bit confused. I try to configure 25 hits per page, not=
=

at all. When i enter the config page: Search settings / Reponse settings=
=

ther are three fields:

Default number of results to display:
Maximum number of results per page:
Highest allowed result number:

The first to fields make me crazy.
The field "Maximum number of results per page" must be higher then the =

field "Default number of results to display" or else the maximum value =

(field 2) is automaticly changed to the default value (field 1).
As a result the result page shows all hits (like defined in field 1) and=
=

no more result pages.
I think that the two values are interchanged.

Could anybody help me to configured this?

Thx in Adv.

Bernd
