How can I restrict an old directory from being access by the public and
maybe make it password secured. Don't know if this is possible, but just
curious. I know that I could move it from the Web directories, but then I
would be unable to access it from the outside. I would like to maintain
it within to continue to access it from the outside. I snoop around the
Netware Web Manager but nothing was helpful. Hope this makes sense.

Here's what id, I created a folder outside of the docs folder. Let's
call it "folder" for now. Then went into webmanager for novonyx. Then
Server Preferences's, Restrict Access (it will say "Novell Directory
Services Access Control" at the top of the frame). In there I put the
pointer to the dir. Now when your users hit that dir, they will be
promted for there NDS user & pass
