Hi,

I've got the following problem with mysql running on Netware 6.5 SP3 /
Mysql 4.1.2 and php 5.03.

I've got a database with 5 tables. In one table there are approx. 6500
records. I do a search on 5 fields. It will take 6-8 seconds before mysql
responds.

On my laptop (W2K still..), i've got the following config:

Apache version : Apache/1.3.33 (Win32)
PHP version : 5.0.4
MySQL version : 4.1.10a-nt - extension : mysqli

Did the same query (running php program), and it comes back within 1.5
seconds..

Is there any known problem with speed between the windows and Netware
version?

Not that I'm aware of. I've got a table with 1.7M records in it running
on mysql 4.1.7 and have no problems with speed. Same indexes on both
systems?
