upgrading single server from NWSB6 to 6.5

- currently using Apache for GW 6.0 Webaccess (WA). Apache2 comes with
6.5. I want to install Apache2 for admin, etc., but want to continue to
use regular Apache until I'm ready to move WA to Apache2. Can I just
copy the Apache folder structure over and use it (once migrated)?

- For WA, are there other folders that need to come across (tomcat,
etc.)

- and for NetStorage?

Think I'll have more questions, but this is a start.

Thanks - Jeff

In theory yes, but yoy would also need to run an instance of the old
Tomcat. I would therefore suggest that you run WebAccess on Apache2

So can I copy tomcat33 over as well? and just to be clear - are those
the only two folder structures I need to worry about (Apache and
Tomcat33)?

I'll be upgrading GW to 6.5 as well, but I won't get to two other
remote offices (on 6.0) until later this month. Don't want to break
tjheir WA access.

It should work, but I have not tested it. Why not install GW 6.0
webaccess on Apache2?

Going to be limited with time, but that might be better idea than
messing with the other.

Any issues/gotchas with running Apache2, WA and NetStorage? Also
planning on setting up Virtual Office later.

thanks for the quick reply - Jeff

I'll be somewhaty limited with time, but might do that rather than mess
with the other.

Any issues/gotchas with Apache2, WA, NetStorage and Virtual Office?

thanks Anders

Could I ask two simple questions (unrelated)? Asked in NWSB but no
one's responded and I'm doing upgrade in a coiuple hours.

- snap-ins for GW after migration - just copy to new C1 snapin folder?

- OK to use IP for migraton wizard? a while back, it was recommended
to use IPX (pre 6.5 I believe)

JeffB,

Or copy the entire public/mgmt from old server.

Yes. Best to have ony one protocol on the PC controlling the migration
and haveit and the two servers in the same, fast switch.
