Hello,

Is it possible with Apache 2 and Netware 6.5.3 to have a directory that
is secure when access from one site (www.mydomain.com) and unsecure when
accessed from another site (intranet.mydomain.com)?

The intranet is only accessible from within the LAN (non routable addres)
and therefore there is no need to make people authenticate. However when
they are outside the LAN they still need access but I don't want to open
it up to the public.

Is there a way to configure this so security recognizes either the
clients IP or the requested host and applies the correct security?

Thanks,
Lou

Yes, AFAIK. Look at the examples on www.apache.org
