In my place of work the network manager has recently upgraded all of our
netware 6.5 servers with Support Pack 3. One of the servers was used for
the companies intranet and was setup with Apache2, PHP4 and connected to a
MySQL database on a remote server.

However since the Support Pack 3 upgrade has upgraded the php version to
PHP5, PHP5 no longer has mysql support by default and so all my php scripts
have stopped working as they can not connect to the mysql server.

Does anyone know how I can enable mysql support for PHP5 on my server? Can
I download a PHP5 version from Novell with built-in mysql support or will
I have to compile PHP5 from scratch?

I have compiled my own php installs on Linux but never on a Novell server,
what tools would I need?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

Grab one of the binaries from http://www.gknw.com/php/dev/ and use it.
Pretty sure his php5 builds have the mysql extension, if not use one of
his 4 builds.
