Hello,

I am running NW6SP5 with BM3.8SP3 and recently had some problems when
the web manager stopped working. All I get now when I try to get to web
manager on port 2200 is the apache nwdocs/index.html.

I had unloaded and reloaded using NVXADMDN/UP when suddenly web manager
stopped coming up and I got the index.html instead. I rebooted the
server. Still no web manager.

I've compared the configuration of the virtual host with another NW6
server where web manager is running happily. It is identical except for
the IP addresses.

NVXADMUP loads without error. TCPCON shows that TCP is listening on port
2200. All the correct files appear to be there. Earlier in the forum I
found a recommendation to add a "NameVirtualHost <IP>:2200" before the
VirtualHost declaration to resolve the issue, but this just generates a
warning when apache loads and makes no difference.

I really need to get this running as I have to get iManager updated and
running the BM snap-in so I can get a VPN up and running ... sigh.

Any help most welcome!

TIA<
Ken

Turns out this is a DNS issue. Using the IP address for the virtual host
instead of the domain name resolves the issue.
