Web manager internal server error
|

| Hi all,
All I want to do is install iManager 2.x so I can use the BM plug-in for
BM3.8 so I can have a VPN. You would think this would be simple, but so
far it has been a royal pain. I've installed iM 2.0.1 and Tomcat 4 along
with JVM 1.4.1 -- now I can't get web manager or imanager to load.
Here's what I have:
NW6SP5
BM3.8SP3
JVM 1.4.1
Tomcat 4 (installed with iManager 2.0.1, upgraded from Tomcat 33 and
iManager 1.x)
iManager 2.0.1
Apache 1.3.31
Web manager starts loading (get the graphic header) then I get "Internal
server error ..." etc.)
What it looks like to me is that (a) adminserv.conf no longer contains
the correct info to work with tomcat 4 and (b) TOMCAT4.NCF appears to
load only PERL and reports only:
JAVA_OPTS = -Xms256m -Xmx256m
CATALINA_OPTS = -server -vm160m -Xmx256
CATALINA_OPTS = -Xmx256m
on the console, but doesn't appear to do anything beyond that. Nothing
displays on the logger screen.
There's no "modules" folder in tomcat 4 folder and adminserv.conf is
pointing to tomcat33 stuff still, it seems to me.
Anybody have any idea what is going on here? Is there more to install
for tomcat 4? What should be in the tomcat4.ncf and adminserv.conf to
correctly load tomcat and servlets?
TIA,
Ken
