I went thru a lot to get this going.
First off adding SSL and 636 in the lines to the
sys\tomcat\4\webapps\vo\WEB-INF\PortalServlet.properties
make sure it has ssl at true and 636 is set
restrting tomcat after every change
It worked for a few hours then eit all stopped and then after going thru
everything lsted below and other Trouble shooting
I'm sure that if you search thru the TIDS you may find what you need.
For me NetWare 6.5 OES SP3 it took patching to the latest version of NMAS
which required 1st NICI 2.6 then Secupd8 then NMAS 2.8 and for good
measure I reinstalled the latest avail nmas methods 2.6.
I had tried just a simple refresh of the nmas policies NMAS REFRESHPOLICY
first to no avail. Do that again after reinstall nmas methods
I went through my entire config of certificates, sdidiags
SDIDIAG> LK -O SYS:\LIST.TXT
SDIDIAG> FS -A -O SYS:\SERVER.TXT
SDIDIAG> LK -I SYS:\SERVER.TXT -O SYS:\PROCESS.TXT
check in output for the 128 bit keys are ok
Also Novell tech support said to assign the Universal Password policy to
the login policy object (This enables your Universal Password policy for
the whole tree) Only an admin account ( account with enough rights) to turn
it off. I removed after I could not login as admin or any user with out
already having a ADMIN eq User that had already had a password set to
remove the policy assignment (thru ConsoleOne previously)
this search revealed alot
