Author Certificate question for apache
Jeff Johnson

I am very confused what certificate I really need to use. I am using
mod_ldap and here is my config:

LDAPTrustedCA sys:/apache2/ldap/certs/test.der
LDAPTrustedCAType DER_FILE

<Directory "sys:/apache/htdocs/test/cgi-bin/">
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
AllowOverride AuthConfig
order allow,deny
allow from xxx.xx
AuthName "test1"
AuthType Basic
AuthLDAPURL ldap://test1.acme.edu:389/ou=people,dc=acme,dc=edu?cn?sub?
AuthLDAPBindDN cn=testuser,o=test
AuthLDAPBindPassword testpassword
require group cn=group,dc=acme,dc=edu
</Directory>

So this works if I use the self-signed cert for ssl certificatedns(default
cert for the ldap server) or if I use the sys:\public\rootcert.der for
LDAPTrustedCA. So exactly what cert needs to be there? Reason is I cant
make apache on solaris work with the netware ldap server as I can netware
apache.
