Author Certificates & Web Manager

I am running NW 6.5 sp3 with Apache 2 and Tomcat 4.

I have been working to configure and implement Virtual Office. Well everything was going well but I wanted to see what I could do about the security certificate that was popping up on VO. I played around quite a bit and finally asked for assistance in the newsgroup. I was able to create a new certificate and edit the conf file and everything was peachy. Or so I thought...

Now, I can not access Web Manager (port 2200). Prior to my changing the certificate, I believe it was working. Oh, one other thing I did do was change to role based administration.

Anyway, for Web Manager, I get the login screen however, when I enter credentials, I get HTTP Status 500. I have noticed several threads on this, however, I can't find anything that works. I tried deleting Netware Admin and Standalone directories under tomcat/4/work. I did edit the adminserv.conf file to use the same certificate that I created and was using for the httpd.conf. I also edited the autoexec.ncf file to use the same security certificate name (and restarted server).

When I attempted to reinstall web manager, I received a certificate error, so did not continue. When I run pkidiag it indicates 2 fixable errors but will not fix them. The log, in part, shows:

Step 3 Verifying the links to the KMOs
Reading the links for SAS Service object 'SAS Service - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG'.
--->KMO IP AG 192\.168\.0\.18 - SLG_SRV1.SLG is linked.
PROBLEM: The KMO object needs to be Renamed/Moved from 'IP AG 192\.168\.0\.18 - SLG_SRV1.SLG' to 'IP AG 192\.168\.0\.18 - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG'.
--> Run in Fixing mode to correct this problem.
--->KMO SSL CertificateIP - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG is linked.
--->KMO DNS AG SLG_SRV1 - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG is linked.
--->KMO SSL CertificateDNS - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG is linked.

PROBLEM: The KMO object needs to be Renamed/Moved from 'DNS AG SLG_SRV1\.SLG\.COM - SLG_SRV1.SLG' to 'DNS AG SLG_SRV1\.SLG\.COM - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG'.
--> Run in Fixing mode to correct this problem.
--->KMO SSL CertificateD2 - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG is linked.
Step 3 succeeded.

Step 4 Verifying the KMOs
---> Testing KMO 'SSL CertificateD2 - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG'.
Rights check -- OK.
Back link -- OK.
Private Key -- OK.

---> Testing KMO 'SSL CertificateDNS - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG'.

---> Testing KMO 'SSL CertificateIP - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG'.

Step 4 succeeded.

Step 5 Re-verifying the links to the KMOs
Reading the links for SAS Service object 'SAS Service - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG'.
ERROR: KMO '' is linked to SAS Service Object 'IP AG 192\.168\.0\.18 - SLG_SRV1.SLG' but we cannot determine if it is in a working state.
KMO 'SSL CertificateIP - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG' is linked.
KMO 'DNS AG SLG_SRV1 - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG' is linked.
KMO 'SSL CertificateDNS - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG' is linked.
ERROR: KMO '' is linked to SAS Service Object 'DNS AG SLG_SRV1\.SLG\.COM - SLG_SRV1.SLG' but we cannot determine if it is in a working state.
KMO 'SSL CertificateD2 - SLG_SRV1.Office.SLG' is linked.
Step 5 succeeded.
I am not sure what more I can try. I would appreciate any direction.

Thanks,
Janet
