Hello all-
Let me first say that I am very new to all of this so I appreciate your
patience. I would like to host a very simple webpage on one of my
netware 65 sp3 servers, which is currently running Apache 2.0.52. I've
poked around the web and the newsgroups a bit, but I'm still unsure
about how to get started. I've read things talking about editing
httpd.conf files, loading multiple instances of apache, using secondary
IP addresses, etc. Currently, this server is hosting WebAccess. And
also, entering the IP of the server into a browser brings me to the
iManager login page. I'm sure I need to provide more info for you all
to help out, but if there's a place you can point me to to get going, I
would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks,
DP

The cleanest way would be to create a new virtual host in
sys:apache2/conf/httpd.conf. The file is commented and there is more info
on www.apache.org

It is probably cleanest if you enter a secondary IP address (in INETCFG)
for it.

Thank you Anders.
I added a secondary IP address to the server and tried adding a virtual
host. When trying to access the url of that new host, or the new IP, I
get an "Object not found" 404 error. So I'm missing something (s). Do
I need to add any DNS info anywhere? Of our three DNS server, the
first 2 are external, the third internal. What about hosts files, or
resolv.cfg? Thanks again-

OK. If it does not work, even by IP, then something is wrong in the
Apache config. Did you restart Apache after making the change (you need
not restart the server, Just apache). If yes, then look in the Apache
logs for reasons.

Nevermind that last post. I had fat-fingered something in the .conf
file. It's working now. Thanks again for the help!
