| Good Morning,
I am trying to create an option to do a "content" and/or a "file
Finder" search. I have not gotten into Java script and am a neophyte
with WEB design. Has any one made this type of search page? Has any one
complied a place for different looks?
Thank You
Will

Yes and yes ;) You do not need javascript, unless you want to get
fancy. For most design changes just change the templates.

| Any suggestions or places that I can grab the source?

| Umm.. You have not read the manual have you? ;) If you look in the
config page for one of your search servers, there are entries for
template files. They are in a subdir "Templates". There is a section in
the manual "Working with templates"

| Actually, I have read much of it... I did not say I understand it all.
Hey, I have a WEB server up, Search page up, I can get it to search
multiple indexes. Not bad for a WEB neophyte. I keep trying. Some
times if people put in the right direction, things get easier!

Modifying the templates is easy. I suggest you create a separate search
site on your server to play with. Then under the site dir, create a
Templates dir and copy all standard templates there. Then make the new
site use those. Then modify to your hearts delight
