| I have a NetWare 6.5 sp5 server running apache web server for internal
services like iprint etc.
http://server1.hps.k12.ok.us was working for a long time but, now I will
get:
Server error!
The server encountered an
internal error and was unable
to complete your request.
Either the server is
overloaded or there was an
error in a CGI script.
If you think this is a server
error, please contact the
webmaster.
Error 500

Apache/2.0.52 (NETWARE)
mod_jk/1.2.6a
If we use http://server1 or the ip address 172.16.0.28 the web pages come up
without a problem. If you ping server1.hps.k12.ok.us it resolves to
172.16.0.28 so the DNS seems to be working. I looked at the httpd.conf file
and the server name is set to server1.hps.k12.ok.us.
I don't know very much about apache so any help would be appreciated.

| OK. Is tomcat running? Type Java -Show
Should be two instances there. If not it is probably the certificates
that needs renewing. Try running PKIDIAG in fixing mode and then try
starting tomcat (tomcat4.ncf). Does it come up then?
