| Hi,
I'm looking into how feasible it would be to replace our IIS box with a
Netware box.
I have a few basic questions on how web services are handled by Novell.
1. How do you "carve out" space for users to post content? Is there a
tool that makes this an easy task?
2. How easy/difficult is it to attach to a web server using an authoring
tool like Frontpage or Dreamweaver? Is WebDAV used/supported, or is it
all done via FTP?
3. How well does the Netware kernal handle web services? Sould I use the
linux one?
I'm wondering if anyone out there has made a switch like this. What
problems have you run into? - both technical and problems from your users.

You can use the users home directories, or set up a dedicated one for web
content. Ie they will see it as just another directory. You can also use a
content management system like Mambo or Wordpress

Easy. We (or rather my colleague) use DW. Just save to the dir. NW aldo
supports WebDAV
