Enterprise Web Server will not stay loaded -- NW5.1 & WebAccess
|
|
| Geoff K. 2007-01-09, 7:12 pm |
| This past weekend we changed the IP subnet that our NetWare 5.1 server
use. All changes worked well, including GroupWise 6.5 agents, except for
WebAccess, which uses Enterprise Web Server (EWS) as the web engine.
I've looked for troubleshooting steps for EWS, and I've found a few, but
none seems to get the service running again. The service starts for a
brief moment, then shuts down. the Web Manger runs, and I can get to the
https://[server-name]:2200 but the Enterprise Web Server service will
not stay up.
What I'm looking for is a troubleshooting process. If anyone has a
resource that steps through what to look for when encountering EWS
issues, that would be great.
I also think I might need to uninstall & reinstall the EWS service, but
since I have WebAccess installed, will I need to reinstall that, as
well? Will reinstalling EWS remove any WebAccess settings? What impact,
if any, would reinstalling EWS have on WebAccess?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
