Author PEAR on NetWare 6.5 SP5

I am hosting a new web site on a NetWare server. Today I found one of
the php apps won't work without PEAR. How do I ensure that PEAR is
running on my NetWare server.

I extracted PEAR 1.6.1 into the SYS:PHP5/PEAR folder. Do I need to
antything else. My App doesn't seem to be working. Is there anyway to
see if PEAR is working properly?

Thanks,

John,

I'm hardly a php expert and I've not used PEAR...so with that in
mind... Did you modify the "include_path" setting in your PHP.INI
file?

I have the latest version of php that includes a PEAR folder under the
PHP structure. It has an include in the php.ini that already includes
that folder. I just put all the PEAR files in that folder.

I just done't know if I need to restart PHP, Restart Apache, and if
there is anyway to test if PEAR is working or not.

Cheers,

John,

Guess I can't help much. If you can't get it figured out or don't get
any answers here, you might want to check out

It's working!!!! It was as simple as upgrading php which includes a PEAR
subfolder. Then put the latest version of PEAR in that subfolder. IT all
just worked.
