Open Enterprise Server Admin Tools - LUM user and xsession

It seems that my LUM enabled users cannot launch a xsession, they can ssh
into a box ok. What needs to happen to allow this users to launch
xsession?

Do you mean they can't type startx at the console to get an X session,
or they can't get in through vnc (i.e. vncviewer myserver:1)? And whats
the error message? does it say connection refused?
