FCS creates applications on the fly

Hang on a minute, how come that my FCS creates applications on the fly? Not
instances, real apps.
Example: I try to connect to rtmp://myserver.com/myapp

Myapp does not exist on the server, there is no such application. Now when I
attempt to connect I see that the folder myapp is being created
automatically... That can't be right can it? What's going on?
