preloader problem as2

| =EF=BB=BFhi,=0A=0Aiam using the flash 2004 components (8 of them) in a=
chat application , the corresponding as2 class files are loading in the=
first frame(by default), and my preloader is loading after the movie=
is loaded some 80%, i tried removing the "Export in first Frame" option=
, still no use the . Can any body help me=0A=0Athanks and regards,=0Ah=

| if you build your app using classes you should have limited to no issues.=
Otherwise off the top of my head you could always load your app into an=
other swf file and have that swf file do the loading for you.

| - repeat the unchecking of export in first frame
- put preloader on frame 1
- put all components on frame 2, off-stage
- put app code & components needed on frame 3
- File > Publish Settings > Flash Tab > ActionScript 2 settings, export in
frame 2

| Hi,
Colin Moock does a nice job of describing how to set this up in his
Essential ActionScript 2 book: http://www.moock.org/eas2/
Don't forget to: File > Publish Settings > Flash Tab > ActionScript 20
Settings Button > Export Frame for classes to something other than 1.
Then setup your timeline so nothing is on that frame etc...
