Okay, according to all the docs I've read this should be simple, but
I cannot for the life of me make it work. I have a partition on my
hard drive where I want to store all the .FLVs and have FlashCom
point there. I should just be able to edit the default Vhost.xml
file, right? I've tried making a virtual directory and also changing
the actual AppsDir nodes, but to no avail. I've made sure the XML
file is saved, stopped and restarted FlashCom several times, but it
just keeps pointing to it's same old default location.

My app name is "vids"

This is what my XML file now has:

<!-- <AppsDir>C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash Communication Server
MX\applications</AppsDir> -->
<AppsDir>E:\FCS\applications</AppsDir>

And then down further I've also tried using the VirtualDirectory
option like this:

<VirtualDirectory>
<Streams> E:\FCS\applications\vids\streams\_defins
t_\</Streams>
</VirtualDirectory>

The docs made it sound like I might have to point to something with
"vids" in the actual file path, so I've even changed a few of
the .FLV file names to reflect that, but again- no luck. I've tried
having both of these set at once, and each on their own.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
-Jed
