Author UPDATE: Changing the directory

Well, as always- I knew I'd just have to send off and email and then
my problem would be solved.

It turns out I just wasn't being patient enough. Despite being right
here on my local network, the videos I was trying to reach just took
a LONG time to load. I guess this happens the first time an .FLV is
being served up? Maybe creating the .IDX file or whatever? I dunno. I
haven't noticed that in the past, but now that I've loaded each one
once, they come up right away.

Sorry to bother.

Thanks,
-Jed

Jed,

A streaming video should start almost immediately. Are you sure
you're not using a progressive download?
