| I submitted this as a player bug via the MM website before I posted it here=
..
I have to say that submitting bugs that way feels a little like putting a
message in a bottle and hoping it floats to the right person someday -- I
never receive any follow-up emails from the player team letting me know if
anything is being done. This list seems like the only way to get an issue
taken seriously. I wish there were a few Ed Chans on the player team.
Now, back to the bug. Sometimes, before I get the "Internet Explorer has
crashed, do you want to tell Mircrosoft?" message, I get an alert that says=
:
ASSERT in LSP
data && data->http
capture\lsp\nolsp\wsp_patches.cpp:906
Abort Retry Ignore
Does this mean anything to anyone?
I'm trying to create a test app, but isolating the cause of the crash isn't
easy given the fact that there's so much going on in our apps. I thought it
had to do with disconnecting immediately after getting a result, but that
now seems like it was coincidence.
