mp3 Sample rate and bitrate for FP 7

| In Flash Player 6 mp3 files had to be endcoded using the following sample
rate and bitrates:
Sample rates must be:
44.1khz
22.05khz
11.025khz
Bitrates must be:
160,128,112,80,64,56,48,32,24,20,16,8
Does FP 7 support a wider range of sample rates and bitrates than these? I
just hate when my streaming mp3 sounds like chipmunks, you know what I mean=

Higher that 44.1khz sample rate, most human ears can't tell the
difference. lower than 11.025khz, starts to sound not very good.
To get the maximum frequency sound that can be played, you divide the
sample rate by 2. so 44.1khz / 2 =3D 22.025. The commonly accepted value
for the limit of human hearing is 20khz.
same with the mp3 bitrates - most people can't tell the difference
over 160kbit, and under 8kbit would probably be indestinguishable from
random noise (it would be that bad).
unless you are making apps for people on high speed connections, with
"Golden Ears" or whatever, these should be fast enough.
Ideally, MM would add support for ogg vorbis - i don't know why they
haven't already (probably don't want to bloat the plugin). But ogg
vorbis sounds a million times better than mp3 at low bitrates. and
then there's the whole no-patents (thus no royalties) etc thing.

| 32khz is still unsupported?
