I agree you cannot please everyone. But you could keep a consistant upgrade
policy, without eliminating the "lower priced versions". Try to release a
new Flash Studio x7.5 more expensive and see the response of the public when
the options are: either get stuck with a discountinued product and wasted
the inversion or pay the price. I think it is an abuse because at this
moment there is no other similar option.
What do people with 1, 2 or 3 Personal edition licenses should do?

Jeez,
It sounds like the old cliche, you can please some of the people some
of the time but you cant please all of the people all of the time.
I mean, really. Can you point to another company that has any kind of
a similar concept where they just put all their business planning and
strategy out for a public mailing list to discuss. I am not sure what
exactly what you think would be better, but all the options that I can
think of that would satisfy your request seem ludicrous. Now, that
said, I agree that I may not have thought of what you are thinking of.
So perhaps a specific suggestion would be better than just
complaining. Of course that leaves you open to your specific idea
actually being labeled ludicrous
Regards
Hank
