Please help, we're launching next week and out production server is having
an issue!

FCS is set to bind to the on a specific IP and running NETSTAT shows that
it listening on that IP on the ports specified by:

(IP changed slightly for privacy..)

<HostPort>70.90.150.56:1935,80,443</HostPort>

And the site in IIS is set to run on 70.90.150.56, but IIS will not start
and gives an 'Address already in use' error whenever FCS is running.

Has anyone else come across this problem??

Brook

Sounds like you have to use the "httpcfg" command line tool to exclude
IIS's use of that other ip address... I think flashcomguru.com has a
tutorial on it..=20

Brook,

It looks like you have FCS and IIS set to use the same IP (70.90.150.56)
and Port (80)
FCS and IIS are therefore in conflict. Either set FCS not to
broadcast/listen on 80; or deploy IIS or FCS to a separate IP and/or
server.

Chris

I'm sorry, my mistake (I'm doing too many things at the same time right
now), IIS is listening on .55, not .56 But it still says the address is in
use. I can't figure it out. Netstat and TCPview from systernals do not show
that .55 is in use at all.

Try browsing with your browser the ip you want and use then get to stop the
site (server) that uses that IP in the IIS configs. You usually would have
to specify which IP is assigned to the server in the Properties, and by
default it just chooses one, or binds to both, I'm not quite sure. But I can
tell you that I've seen this config work great, but it was with Apache;
doubt that would change anything.
