| I would like to create a WebChat with Flash as client ans FCS as
server... FCS is OK for that.
My question is :
I need a HTML or Java client with the same server (FCS) : Is it
possible ???
Thanks for your reply !

| It is possible.
FCS uses the port 1935 as the default port for delivering data. However
this means that you cannot implement HTTP tunnels if the user firewall
prevents access to that port. You can however enable ports 8080 and 443
and what ever other port you can allow access through for tunnelling
purposes.

| Hi David,
I don't think it will be practical until Macromedia releases a Java
development kit along with FCS 2. MM says they are working on it but
have not exactly promised it: See the section "Java and C++ Clients"
at: http://flash-communications.net/new...Peek/index.html
Yours truly,
-Brian
