Thank you for your email. Your message has not reached

Just about every time I post to FlashComm or FlashCoders I get one or
more messages saying "Dear Friend: Thank you for your email. Your
message has not reached my Inbox because you are not yet on my
Approved List"

I find this pretty annoying. Can something be put into the chattyfig
signup mail telling people do add the list to their whitelist?
