| I posted to flashcoders but it may be the wrong list. Are the Media
Player components part of FCS or MX Pro in general - been a while since
I bought them and can't remember.
The question as posted to coders was:
I see many projects out there using a small slider (like the one in the
Media Playback component) but I can't seem to find the actual component
itself. Did Macromedia make it but not actually offer it as something
we can use? I would like to use the slider in a project and simply
cannot find it anywhere.

| I think that slider was part of one of the Developer Resource kits. The switcher application article by Kevin towes(in the macromedia flash communication developer section) incorporates that component.
I am not sure if it's 'legal' to do that, but i simply dragged and dropped that component from the switcher onto one of the other application. it worked for me.

| Ahh, do you know which DEV cd it was from? I have 1,3 and 4 I believe.
