Hello All,

I've got some shared objects that work fine on my LAN, but then quit
working when I have them on the Web. Even worse, it's only some of the
shared objects, not all of them. When I run them on my local system,
off the LAN, they also work fine. However, as soon as I put them on the
Web, some of my key shared objects go kaput.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Solutions?

TIA,
Bill

Long time ago, happened to me because of filespace. The FLV's too. They
would get created if they were persistant, but wouldn't work.

If you have the allocated filespace on your server, then is it perhaps
related to bandwidth caps? Like, if you have a lot of SharedObjects sending
a lot of data at once?

Jesse,

That makes sense. The SO's with the MCs in the SWF all work fine, it's
the ones that load external SWFs that have stopped working. I do have a
lot of shared objects. Let me try opening more BW and see if that
works.

Thanks,
Bill

You have Remote SharedObjects being used in SWF's that are being loaded into
other SWF's via loadMovie? Hrm... how are those SO's getting connected to
the NetConnection? Maybe it's a security sandbox problem.

Jesse,

They're all in the same sandbox (folder); so that shouldn't pose a
problem. I upped the bw limit to 250k up/down and still no joy. The
loaded SWF files are not connecting, but that is another avenue to
explore. That gives me an idea to try.

Thanks again,
Bill
