| Sorry this is ot, although it relates to a flash comm. application i
am building.
I searched the web for answers but cant find a decent one
I know macromedia restricted the fscommand, but there must be a way of
opening external files with command line parameters.
There is a bat. file option within a fscommand folder, but I have over
5000 different parameters to pass to the command line - therefore i
assume i would have to 5000 bat files??? unless I'm missing something
stupid.
Is there a simple way of executing exe with command line parameters ?
I also came accross a small program called SOP, but this doesnt seem
to work in 2004 mx.
Any help would be greatly welcome,
Regards
Johnny

| You can pass command line parameters to apps like:
NaturalDocs -o somefolder -p HTML someFolderAgain
FlashPaper does it too.
I've done both with Flash, and the first using Zinc to get around the
fscommand restriction. Macromedia's done the fscommand + bat file route on
some of their DRK CD's.
....what I don't get is why you need 5000 parameters? Why not 5001, or 4654?
What the heck kind of app is that customizable, and can I meet the bad-arse
programmer?
You could write one bat file, and simply put a " " space between each of the
params depending on what it needs.
