One cautionary note:

ON2 is fairly demanding for CPUs. A 700k stream played fullscreen had my
3.2ghz P4 running between 50 and 70 percent.

Hey randy do you have HT?

On my 3.2ghz HT the CPU runs at 20-25

In my opinion, by the time this truecast becomes the norm (if) then
computers will be more than capable anyways

What's that?

Agreed. It's all relative to other codecs, with MPEG1 and 2 being the
easiest to decompress.

Randy,

Full screen is huge. I dont think I have ever seen a 640x480 FLV
though I am sure they are out there. But many older computers cant do
640x480 generally. But I am sure you are right that their codec
requires more processing power. But I suspect that for most users it
wont matter since most video is <= 320x240 or 1/4 the size and
therefore 1/4 of the processing of a 640x480 video.

Regards
Hank
