Is there a limit to the number of files that can be stored in an
applications directory? Is there a limit to the size of all the files?
In other words, over 100,000 files ranging from 7kb to several mbs on
the server (assuming I have enough disk)?

Best,

James

If you're using XP

FAT32 partitions are limited to 65,534 items in a directory.
NTFS partitions are limited to 4,294,967,295 files in a directory.

hope that helps
