Ohla,

I've never been able to trace anything from the SSAS. I usually resort
to using a call method and passing the debugging info I need but I'm fed
up with my work around and want to know what I'm doing wrong. For
example, this doesn't trace back anything for me:

=20

application.onConnect =3D function(newClient, name) {

=20

newClient.name=3Dname;

=20

application.acceptConnection(newClient);

=20

trace("Hello");

=20

}

=20

Any thoughts?

=20

Chris

Traces go to the communication app inspector (but I think you know that). As
for your example, if you are loading the macromedia component framework, the
trace will be ignored (because the framework says you cannot have code after
an acceptConnectio or rejectConnection).

Okay, thanks for the heads up on the framework!
