| We have an ssas application that has a memory leak. When usage gets high,
the 2GB on the server (plus the 2GB of VM) gets used up so fast that FCS
crashes within 2-3 hours.
I setup a swf that connects to the server via the admin interface and do a
"gc" call every minute. If I do this (and I expect if I do it less often,
it will also work) the server still has a memory leak, but it takes 1-2 days
before the memory fills up and crashes FCS.
My first question is: Why doesn't FCS's auto-gc collect these wasted object
when it runs? Or is the gc not running for some reason?
When I am doing the gc manually like this, random users that are watching AV
streams get disconnected. It seems that the higher the bandwidth the stream
is, the more likely the user is going to get disconnected, but as soon as I
stop doing the gc'ing, noone gets disconnected anymore.
Any ideas as to why users would get disconnected?
Thanks,
Nate
