Server Configuration Recommendations?

FlashComm is a great resource--I've learned tons in the few months that
I've been reading. Hopefully you will be able to help with a question I
have.
We are looking at creating an audio/text chat for online courses to
support communication among small groups of students/instructors.
For development/deployment, should we get two copies of FCS Professional
- one for the production server (with its own hardware box) and the
other for the development server (again on its own box)? or is there a
way to safely develop FCS applications on a live production server?
Thanks for any info you can offer,
Sharon

| Hi Sharon,
I would get a couple of pre-deployment test boxes if you can. They don't
have to be powerful and you don't need a big license for them.
Yours truly,
-Brian
