Author Metadata injection with Sorenson 4.1

Just so that this info is in the public domain:
The metadata bug which causes Sorenson to inject the wrong width and height
metadata into some flv's has NOT been fixed in Sorenson 4.1.

I have emailed Sorenson and they have confirmed it but given no explanation.

Bit of a shame really and maybe an indication of which way the Flash Video
codec(s) are heading.

Yeah, we emailed them back about 2 weeks ago on the same issue, and they
responded:

That function was not added to Squeeze 4.1. I am told it may not be included
until Squeeze 5 is released next year.

It is a shame but does anybody really care anymore? Something tells me that
Sorenson won't be making the next FLV creating tool.

Sorenson's engineering focus is on providing integration for AVID.
That's directly from the Squeeze Product Manager. They've gone from a
vendor I valued highly to a vendor that's disdained.
