| Are there any good converters out there which will convert a PPT
presentation to one SWF file, with one slide per frame? Or at least, one
SWF file for each slide?
I've tried several. They either do not convert to vector format, or they
do not render text and/or graphs correctly. Nalanda Quickflash gives me
all kinds of errors. SWISHPresenter is unpredictable, and doesn't render
things correctly. AutherGEN won't allow me to output anything, unless I
narrate it. Doesn't look like I can output anything like I need with
ArticulatePresenter.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Brandon

| Save the PPT file as a windows meta file (.wmf) Then it can be imported
directly into flash and will come in as frames. Formatting may be a
little off but no third party tool is needed.

conversion. Worth a try...=20

| My company has a product that does this conversion on the server-side
using Openoffice as backend. We're using a macro which is accessible
by the command line. (check http://www.oooforum.org/)
By simply exporting ppt to swf in OO, you'll generate a presentation
in which the slides come every two frames, and when you click them,
they advance. This solution was not suitable for our case, so what we
did is: first convert them to pdf, and then, using ppt2swf
(www.quiss.org/swftools), convert them to swf. Sounds bloat, but the
whole process takes no more than 5 seconds in a Pentium 4 3.0GHz
512RAM running slackware linux, *loaded* with services.
The fonts come out fine, and the quality is awesome. Give it a try.
